Norman E. Boreman, 69, of Burbank died Saturday September 1, 2012 at Wooster Community Hospital. He was born August 18, 1943 in Wooster son of Cleveland and Bertha Ryneer Boreman. Norman was a Lumber Broker for Saw Creek Lumber, a member of First Church of God where he was a Sunday school teacher for many years. He enjoyed hunting and riding horses and raising show cattle. On June 1, 1963 Norman married Shirley Taylor, who survives. Along with his wife, Norman is survived by his children Cheryl (Todd) Morris of Wooster, Pat (Malcolm) Peterson of Burbank and Blake Boreman of Wooster; 19 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a sister Becky Cogar of Smithville. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, a son Steve; sisters Alzina Roach, Treva Cherry and Opal Mann and brothers Jim, Bill, George and True Boreman. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 4th at 1:00 P.M. at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Ken Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Congress Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
