WOOSTER – Dwight Justice Rhamy, 80, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 at Wooster Community Hospital due to complications resulting from Cancer.  He was born June 25, 1932, in Wooster, the son of Paul and Audrey Rhamy and married Julia Bechtel on Oct. 19, 1954. She survives.   Dwight graduated from Wooster High School in 1951 and was a Running Back for the Generals football team that went undefeated in 1949. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following the war, he went to the Wooster Business College and received his BA in Accounting. He worked as an accountant by trade, first for Eastern Wells Survey for 27 years and then Long & Wilson until his retirement at age 70. He was an avid family man who enjoyed raising four children with his wife and was a hands on home improvement man who loved working on and around the house as well as playing golf and donating his time to help build homes with Habitat for Humanity. Dwight was also a member of the Elks Lodge for more than 47 years where he earned a lifetime membership and was a past member of both the Kuwanis and 20/30 Clubs where he enjoyed spending time to help others in the community. After his retirement he and his wife liked traveling together and as snowbirds they spent part of the year in The Villages, FL. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.   In addition to his wife Julia, Dwight is survived by his son Rodney and daughters Diane Fishburn of Aspen, CO., Cristie Dice of Charlotte, NC. and his grandson Jason Fishburn, also of Aspen, CO. who he raised as his own son. In addition to his children he is also survived by his grandchildren, Natasha Fishburn as well as Julia, Anna and Christian Dice.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Paul, Jr.   Friends may attend calling hours Friday from 7 -9 pm at McIntire, Bradham and Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster. Memorial Services will be held at the Central Christian Church, 407 N. Market St.,Wooster at ll am on Saturday with the Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating. Military services will be conducted by American Legion Post 68 of Wooster.   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to either the Wayne County Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 or Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH. 44691.
