SMITHVILLE – L. Margaret BRUBAKER, 81, of Smithville, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in her home. She was born November 1, 1930 in Wooster, the daughter of Howard J and Lois Ayling Mosier. She married Kenneth P. Brubaker on April 6, 1947. He survives. She had worked in the Florence O. Wilson Bookstore for nearly 30 years retiring in 2010 and along with her husband had worked on the family farm. She was a member of the First Church of God in Smithville and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children; Les (Barbara) Brubaker of Mesa, Arizona, Larry (Rose) Brubaker of Hillsboro, Lynne (Art) Riggenbach of Wooster, Kelly Brubaker of Alaska and Kristi (Ralph) Gill of Wooster; 19 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ike Mosier of Lakeville and Pat (Carolyn) Mosier of Killbuck and a sister Ginny Hitchcock of Wooster. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kenneth Brubaker in 1973 and 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster 2 hours prior to the 3:00 p.m. service on Saturday, September 29, 2012 with the Rev. O. J. Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at the Smithville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice & Pallative Care of Greater Wayne Co., 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
