WOOSTER – Elsa A. MORA, 90, of Wooster, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at the West View Manor Nursing Home. She was born July 28, 1922 in Cuba, the daughter of Oscar and Leonor Monti Roque. She married Remi Mora on April 1, 1947. He preceded in 1999. She was a graduate of LaProgresiva in Cuba and attended Geneva College in Pennsylvania. Elsa had worked at the OARDC for 20 years in the Horticulture Dept. Member of the First Presbyterian Church where she was a former Deacon and a member of the Afternoon Circle. She had also volunteered at the Viola Startzman Free Clinic and People to People Ministries. She had also served as a translator for CAMO in Hondarus. Surviving are her children, Elsa (Richard) Buchholz of Wooster and Remi A. (Yolanda) Mora of Miami, Florida; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her parents and a brother, Oscar. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 621 College Ave., Wooster. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
