WOOSTER – Del S. NIRODE, 94, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in Hospice of Medina Co. Care Center. He was born December 17, 1917 in Wayne County, the son of Clarence Wayne and Blanche Shafer Nirode. He married Laura Weaver on February 13, 1941. She survives. He was the owner of Nirode Plumbing for 22 years retiring in 1977 and had also farmed. He was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church. Del enjoyed motorcycles and golf. Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Bernard (Marion) Nirode of Wellington and Del W. (Hazel) Nirode of Oak Creek, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Daryl (Jackie) Nirode, Damon (Brooke) Nirode, Adam (Annette) Nirode, Vanessa Nirode, Joy Nirode, Will (Melissa) Nirode and Wayne Nirode, 7 great-grandchildren and a brother Myron (Bev) Nirode of Arizona. Del was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 2-5:00 p.m. Services will be held at Fairview United Methodist Church, 6060 Newkirk Rd., Shreve on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 3:00 PM with the Rev ™s Layton Broome and Randy Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Fairview United MethodistChurch Church, 10490 Schwartzwalder Rd., Shreve, OH 44676 or Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Rd., Medina, OH 44256.
