Together Again WOOSTER – Robert Donald POSTLETHWAIT, 88, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in Wooster Community Hospital. He was born August 5, 1924 in Littleton, West Virginia, the son of Thomas Ray and Opal Grace Burch Postlethwait. He married Anna Mae Barker Hall on April 29, 1946. She preceded on February 17, 2005. He retired from the Timken Company after 33 years of employment. He was a member of the Shreve United Methodist Church and had served his country with the US Army during WWII serving in the European Theatre receiving a Purple Heart Medal, the Bronze Star Medal and the European Africian Middle Eastern Service Ribbon. Surviving are his children, Judy (Jon) Coy of Savannah, Donna Michael) Daugherty of Wooster and Linda Sue Postlethwait of Alexandria, Virginia; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, F. Texann Drozd of Brunswick and a brother, Tommy Postlethwait of Colliers, West Virginia. In addition to his wife, Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Joyce Hundley on February 6, 2005, a brother Rex and sisters Laverne Toothman and Eulalah Stoneking. Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 7-9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev Bill Lawson officiating.
