WOOSTER “ William H. œBill  Wall went home to be with our Lord Jesus  Christ on October 30, 2012 after a courageous battle with kidney and heart disease for many years. He was born in Danville, Ohio, the son of Lawrence and Betty Champion Wall. He married the love of his life Maxine Ammon on August 29, 1954. She survives. He retired after 30 years of employment at Diebold, Inc. of Wooster and continued to work part time at Central Rent All. He had served as a volunteer firefighter for Wooster Township Fire Dept. for 17 years. Served in the Ohio National Guard in 1950. Bill was always ready to help anyone in need and loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his special dog friend Maggie. He was a collector of antique hit and miss engines, vintage garden tractors and was a member of many clubs throughout Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania. He enjoyed making homemade toys for friends and family, working in his workshop, going to flea markets and garage sales. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Peggy (Ray) Stryker and Mike (Deb) Wall both of Wooster; grandsons Chad Stryker, Ryan Stryker, Kevin Wall and Adam Wall and brothers Donald Wall of Wooster and Robert Wahl of Ashland. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, infant sons David and William Wall and a brother Earl Wall. Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday evening, November 2, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. Services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Davenport officiating. Burial will follow at the Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville.
