SMITHVILLE – Joe B WARREN, 84, of Smithville, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in his home. He was born May 26, 1928 in Decker, Tennessee, the son of William and Hattie Gibson Warren.  He had worked at B F Goodrich in Akron for 42 years. Member of the Paradise Church of the Brethren, the Wooster Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge and a past member of the Masons in Akron. Surviving are his children Timothy L. (Carol) Warren of Folly Beach, SC, Ted A. (Kelly) Warren, Mary Jo (Jerry) Kirven and Janice (Steve) Curren all of Wooster; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Dorothy L. Walters Warren on September 5, 2004, his parents, brothers, Leonard & John Jay Warren, sisters, Cullie Baker, Louise Finch Hill and Eileen Daugue. Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Saturday from 12 – 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Allen Kahler officiatiing. Inurnment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Shreve.
