Gladys J. Franks, 77, of Wooster died Friday November 9, 2012 in Wooster Community Hospital. She was born November 21, 1934 in Wooster to Floyd A. and Ruth A. Fetter Franks. Gladys started at Rubbermaid during high school and continued there after graduation until 1980 when she became Stan Gault ™s executive assistant working for him for a total of 32 years. She had also served on the board of directors of Goodwill and was a member of East Union Lutheran Church. Gladys enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends. Gladys is survived by her sisters Dorothy Scott of Smithville, Hazel (Walt) Perry of Wooster and Roberta Franks of Arizona along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Richard Franks and a sister Arlene Moore. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 13 at 10:00 A.M. at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Robert Moskowitz officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received on Monday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
