WOOSTER – Carol Jean MATHENY, 61, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 in her home. She was born November 11, 1951 in Swandale, WV, the daughter of Joseph Dale and Eva Jane Workman Nutter. She married Ray Matheny. He survives. She retired from Taco Bell and had been a volunteer with People to People Ministries. Carol enjoyed spending time with family and watching her grandkids participation in sports, helping others and always gave to many charities. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Nathaniel Butcher, Matthew Butcher and Gina Butcher; grandchildren, Zachery Butcher, Bryce Butcher, Safaria Butcher, Jake Zimmerman, Miranda Butcher and Jenna Butcher; her siblings, Rodney Gerald Nutter, James Edgar Nutter, Orda Jennings Nutter, Roger Harry Nutter, Joseph David Nutter, Charles Franklin Nutter, Wilma Katherine Nutter Bailey, Nancy Doris Nutter Morris, Mary Eva Nutter Crigger. Carol was preceded in death by her parents. There will be no calling hours or services. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
