Mary Noreene œRene  Matuck, 90, of Apple Creek, died Tuesday January 1, 2013 at her home.   She was born February 22, 1922 in Richland County to Dennis Michael and Euella Marie Higgins O ™Connell, Sr. Mary married Eugene Richard Matuck on June 8, 1943. He preceded her in death in 1981. She was a licensed insurance agent. She and her family have operated Matuck Insurance Agency, Inc. since 1959. Mary was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and had been very involved with the Mother of Twins Club and was a 60 year member of Beta Sigma Phi.   Mary is survived by her daughters Rita Jean Matuck and Roberta Joan (Irvin œSonny ) Saurers both of Wooster and June Ellen Matuck of Apple Creek and her awesome granddaughter Katharine June Saurers. Noreene loved her family and was a strong supporter of her daughters, son-in-law and granddaughter. She enjoyed flower arranging and supporting her Irish heritage. She will be missed by her sorority friends and other many friends. Along with her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Dennis M. and Carl Patrick O ™Connell, Margaret Patricia Flenner and Euella Marie Wright. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday January 4, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with Father Christopher Trenta officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Loudonville. Calling hours will be from 9:00 A.M. on Friday until the time of service at the church.
