Robert J. Manges, 73, of Wooster died Tuesday January 1, 2013 at his home. He was born November 19, 1939 in Wooster to W.R. and Cecile Morris Manges. Robert worked for Frito Lay for over 43 years before retiring in 2002. He was a 1959 graduate of Shreve High School and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors and time with his grandsons. On June 25, 1966 he married Marcella Dawson. She preceded him in death in 2006. Robert is survived by his children Bianca (Sean) Davis and Wayne Manges both of Wooster; grandsons Darrick Geiser and A.J. Hinton; brothers Charles (Elaine) Manges of Piqua, Kenneth Manges of Shreve, Larry (Linda) Manges of Wooster and David (Patty) Manges of Big Prairie. Along with his wife, Robert was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Charlene Van Lieu and Richard and Harold Manges. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 5, 2013 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Shreve. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
