Wooster- Betty McIntyre Immel, 82, went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2013 at Smithville Western Commons. Betty was born April 16, 1930 in Coshocton. She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching horse races; collecting deer and watching birds eat from her bird feeder. Betty was a faithful member of Wooster Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by her parents, a husband of 43 years Wilford Immel, sons Edwin Oldman and Harold Dean; sisters Bessie Fischer, Patricia Randolph and Ruth Nicholes; brothers Thomas, Walter, Raymond, Paul Richard, John and James McIntyre. Surviving are daughters Sandy (Thomas) Beutler of Cuyahoga Falls, Jackie (Darrell) Taylor of Shreve, Betty (Larry) Sweeney of West Salem, Sue (Ray) Sharp of Hayward, CA; a son Robert (Carol) Stutzman of Wooster; 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Floyd Koenig officiating. Calling hours will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
