WOOSTER – Steven A Oscar MEYER, 59, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at his home. He was born August 26, 1953 in Wooster, the son of Gerald and Donna Grassman Meyer. He had worked in maintenance for 28 years at Wooster Products. Was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Eagles Lodge. Steve’s great love was his English Motorcycles, Triumphs and Norton and he loved the outdoors. He had been in Boy Scouts and had been an alter boy at the Church. He will be missed by his family, relatives, many friends and his cats Sherman, George and Kittles. Surviving are his parents of Wooster, daughters, Brittany Meyer and Aleata Meyer both of Wooster; 2 grandchildren; sisters, Debra Meyer of Columbus, Mary Anne Mottmiller of Wooster and Rita Flanagan of Burbank. He was preceded by his grandparents and a foster brother, Dick Chenevey. Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 5-8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with the Rev. Stephen Moran as the celebrant.. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery, Wooster.
