WOOSTER “ Frank Marshall Hays, 82, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Akron General Medical Center in Akron. He was born January 19, 1931 in Wooster, the son of Dr. Ralph Lawrence and Gladys Marshall Hays. He married Barbara M. Kauffman on July 2, 1961. She survives. Frank was a 1949 graduate of Wooster High School, Wooster College in 1953 and received his law degree from The Ohio State University in 1960. He was an attorney in Wooster for 50 years retiring in 1995.   He loved reading and traveling, was a docent in Bodie National Park in California for 9 years, was an amateur photographer and was a private pilot. Frank served his country as a 1st Lt. in the U.S. Marines from 1953-1955 stationed at El Toro Marine Corp. Air Station in California. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children; Ralph (Kevin Martin) Hays of Saratoga Springs, NY, William Hays of Columbia, SC, John (Andrea) Hays of Columbus and Paul (Jen) Hays of Wyoming; OH; grandchildren; Khai Martin Hays, MaiLinh Martin Hays, Marshall and Oscar Hays and Audrey Hays. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Thomas Marshall Hays. Friends will be received following the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2012 in Mackey Hall on the College of Wooster Campus with the Rev. Andries Coetzee officiating.
