WOOSTER – Jack Charles RICHWINE, 81, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Wooster Community Hospital. He was born April 17, 1931 in Cleveland, the son of David E. and Beatrice L. Britton Richwine. He married Alice M.Welday on December 2, 1978. She survives. He was a superintendent for the Ohio Dept. of Transportation for 27 years retiring in 1988, Had been a deputy sheriff and drove a city bus. He enjoyed repairing clocks and watches and was known as the clock man. He died as he lived, helping others. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Dyann (Mike) Jones of Ohio, Michael (Rebecca) Richwine and Richard (Amy) Richwine both of Mansfield, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, step-children, Jay (Karen) Roberts, Tangie Poole and Karen (Tom) Biltz all of Akron, Rick (Sandy) Davis of Apple Creek.   Jack was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Jason Richwine and a brother David P. Richwine. Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating. Burial will follow in the East Union Cemetery.
