Geraldine M. Fry of Wooster passed away Saturday February 16, 2013 after a one year illness. A Memorial Mass, with date to be announced, will take place at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Wooster. Private interment will be held at Fredericksburg East Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, Wooster. She was born April 3, 1919 in Wooster, daughter of Anthony and Sanderine Bartholomew DeLucca. She married Paul R. Fry in 1944 in Boston, MA. Geraldine graduated from Wooster High School in 1937 and from Dyke College in Cleveland. Gerry and Paul returned to Orrville to begin raising two children Stephanie Fry Wilson and Dennis K. Fry. Gerry was active in PTO, Homemaker Club, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Wayne County Cancer Society, Orrville Business and Professional Women ™s Club, a licensed realtor, Friends and Neighbors of Every Woman ™s House and St. Agnes and St. Mary Parish activities. Gerry retired from The College of Wooster where she worked as Administrative Assistant of The Speech and Theatre Departments. Surviving, in addition to her children, are grandsons Christopher Fry Wilson and Alexander John Wilson, nieces Vicki (Archie) Vitallo, Jill (Ronald) Rose and nephew Terry (Colleen) Porter along with great nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Helen DeLucca Porter. The family would like to thank the caring staff at West View Healthy Living (Wing A) and the Hospice Staff.
