Ralph Douglas Hutch HUTCHINS, 83,of Wooster, passed away Saturday February 16, 2013 in Wooster Community Hospital. He was born January 31, 1930 in Atlanta, GA, son of Vertis F. and Ruth Paden Hutchins. On December 9, 1949, he married Donna Guthrie. She survives. Ralph retired from Don W. Miller, Inc. in Green Springs, OH. He was a member of Central Christian Church, the Elks Lodge, Ebenezer Lodge #33 F. & A.M. of Wooster, Bahia Shrine of Orlando, Florida and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite,Valley of Canton. he was a lifetime member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18 AFL-CIO. He was a former resident of St. Cloud, Florida. Ralph served his country with the U.S. Navy. Along with his wife, Ralph is survived by a son, Ronald G Hutchins of Ft. Myers, FL; daughters, Beth A Sidebottom of Bluffton, SC, Jeanne L Hutchins of Lakeland, FL and Lisa M. Brown of Wooster; grandchildren Mary Beth Young, Ben Kochenderfer, Gene Hutchins, Douglas, Alyssa and Jacob Myers and Theresa Grace; great grandchildren Paisley Kochenderfer, Haden and Hannah Owen, Rachael and Brystal Grace. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Katy Kochenderfer and a brother Victor R. Hutchins. Friends will be received one hour prior to the 12:00 NOON service on Tuesday, February 19 at Central Christian Church, 407 N. Market St., Wooster with Rev. Joel Engman officiating.  Interment will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman on Wednesday February 20 at 10:30 A.M. Contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 or to the Central Christian Church, 407 N. Market St., Wooster, OH 44691.   The family would like to thank the Hospice the nurses and volunteers, Dr. Hannan and the hospital nurses for their loving care McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, Wooster is assisting the family.
