WOOSTER – Glenn E FATH, 82, of Wooster passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton. He was born May 23, 1930 in Wayne County, the son of John and Grace Miller Fath. He married Virginia Kauffman on August 7, 1954. She survives. He retired from the Gerstenslager Co. as a supervisor after 39 years of employment. Glenn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Wooster Elks and he enjoyed woodworking. He served his country with the US Army during the Korean War. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Glenn Jr. (Pam) Fath of Wooster; a granddaughter, Amanda Fath of Madison, Wisconsin, a half-brother, Ken Stull and a sister Dorothy Wertz. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Robert Fath, brothers John and Chuck Fath and sisters Nellie Chumley, Viola Haskew and Marjorie Faught. There will be no calling hours and private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne Co., 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
