Benjamin T. Skip Yokoyama, 52, of Wooster died Friday February 22, 2013 at his home. He was born October 15, 1960 in Wooster the son of Ben T. and Judith Taggart Yokoyama. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University. He worked for the Wayne County Sheriff s Department for several years before his retirement. He enjoyed Rock collecting and Target shooting. Surviving are his parents of Wooster. A sister Ellen Yokoyama, of Columbus. A brother; Christopher (Sandy) Yokoyama of Irving Texas and 2 nieces; Cora and Lily Yokoyama. He was preceded in death by a sister Faith Elizabeth Yokoyama in 1982. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691 with Rev. Larry Black officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
