Rosemary E. Scott, 65, of Wooster passed away March 8, 2013 at Glendora Care Center with family by her side after a 7 year battle with lymphoma. Rosemary was born December 31, 1947 to Milo K. and Dolores A. (Snyder) George. They preceded her in death. She married Edward L. Scott December 14, 1968. He survives. Rosemary graduated from Triway High School in 1966 then attended the College of Wooster and Kent State University. She was an avid reader and volunteered tutoring adults to read and pass GED exams. Rosemary loved history and enjoyed traveling to historic sites, especially Civil War battlefields. Rosemary dedicated her life to being a loving and caring wife and mother. She was very successful. In addition to her husband, Rosemary is survived by sons Michael (Sara) Scott of Atlanta, Ga. and Ryan Scott of Brunswick, Ohio. She is also survived by a sister Charlene Fitzgerald of Cuyahoga Falls and several nieces and nephews. Her brother Steven Eric George preceded her in death. The family wants to thank the staff at Glendora Care Center for their care and compassion during Rosemary s battle and Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County for the comfort they provided during her last days. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude s Children s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Northern Ohio Chapter, 23297 Commerce Park Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44122. Friends may call Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at McIntire, Bradham and Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio. Burial will be a private service at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
