WOOSTER – Regina SCHAFRATH, 88, of Wooster, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 18, 1924 in Uniontown, Kentucky, the daughter of William A. and Margaret Mary Beaven French. She married Paul D. Schafrath, Sr. on December 29, 1945. He preceded on October 25, 1995. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on their farm. Regina was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Surviving are her children, Deanna (Edward) Draper of Ashland, Mildred (Walter) Tyler of Smithville and Paul D Schafrath Jr. of Wooster; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Collins of Wooster. In addition to her husband, Regina was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Donald Schafrath 2 great-grandchildren and brothers, Charles French, Thomas French and Roy French Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 6-8:00 p.m. with a rosary service starting at 5:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with the Rev. Stephen Moran officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery, Wooster.
