WOOSTER – Doris M HOOVER, 91, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Horn Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She was born April 5, 1922 in Medina, the daughter of Ray and Camella Roberts Huffman. She married Clifford Hoover on June 5, 1944. He preceded in death in May 16, 1994. Doris was a homemaker who loved collecting knickknacks, going to garage sales and going out to eat with her husband. Surviving are children, Sherry (Steve) Hardgrove and Brenda (David) O’Dell of Wooster and Donald (Martha) Hoover of Dalton; 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandchild and a sister, Erlene Huffman. In addition to her husband, Doris was preceded by her parents and 9 brothers and sisters. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 12 Noon. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
