WOOSTER – Catherine Clara MASSARO, 87, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Medina Village Nursing Home. She was born July 15, 1925 in Wooster, the daughter of John and Nunzia Nolletti Santangelo. She married Albert Massaro on August 10, 1946. He preceded in death on November 7, 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Catherine loved gardening. Surviving are a son, Timothy Michael (Karen) Massaro of Medina; grandchildren, Todd M. Massaro, Andrew and Audrey Casey and a sister, Pauline Pasquariello of Wooster. In addition to her husband, Catherine was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Phillip, Henry, Leonard and Albert Santangelo. Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Avenue, Wooster, Ohio with the Rev Stephen Moran as celebrant. Inurnment of ashes will be on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 1:15 p.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorial Contributions
He was the owner of Ray Crow Cleaners since 1969. He was a member of the Central Christian Church and enjoyed playing golf and ball room dancing. He had served his country with the U.S. Naval Reserves.
