WOOSTER – Richard W DETROW, 83, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at West View Healthy Living. He was born August 21, 1929 in Wooster, the son of Leland and Betty Sloan Detrow. He married Jacklyn Crow on February 3, 1951. She survives. He was the owner of Ray Crow Cleaners since 1969. He was a member of the Central Christian Church and enjoyed playing golf and ball room dancing. He had served his country with the U.S. Naval Reserves. Surviving in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Cyd (Jeffrey) Pleska of Wooster; grandchildren, Christopher Pleska of Canton and Jennifer Pleska of Washington, DC and a brother, Donald (Shirley) Detrow of Wooster. Richard was preceded in death by his parents. There will be no calling hours or services. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
