WOOSTER – Josephine Elizabeth SCHMID, 87, of Wooster, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at Smithville Western Care Center.
She was born March 11, 1926 in Spencer Twp., Ohio, the daughter of Oscar and Iva Sprinkle Clark.
She was a homemaker, an active member of the Grace Brethren Church and had been a 4-H Advisor when her children were young.
Surviving are her children, Dean (Eve) Schmid of Mount Gilead and Linda (John) Badger of West Salem, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Schmid, Jr on September 27, 1992, a brother, Kenneth Clark and a sister, Elma Lowe.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Pittsburg Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
