WOOSTER – Geoffrey W. MONASTRA, 45, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born June 15, 1968 in Lima, the son of Gene and Dory Potts Miller. He married Jennifer Plant on June 5, 1998. She survives.
He received his bachelors degree from the University of Cincinnati and his MBA from Case Western Reserve. He was a Financial Analyst, a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, was an active youth soccer coach and a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity at the University of Cincinnati.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his mother and step-father, Dory and Norman Miller of Wooster; his children, Madison Shank, Joseph Monastra, Gabriella Monastra and Nathan Monastra all of the home; sisters, Anne (John) Mitchell of Solon and Betsy Miller of Providence, Rhode Island and a brother, Jonathan Miller of Columbus.
Geoffrey was preceded in death by his father.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday evening from 5-8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.on Thursday, June 27, 2013  at St. Mary Catholic Church  527 Beall Ave., Wooster with the Rev. Stephen Moran as the celebrant. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg at 2:00 p.m.
