Merwin Gene Glossner was born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania August 4, 1925.   He was preceded in death by his wife Florence Marydee Glossner, and a sister Eula Kling.   Still living are a daughter and son-in-law James and Jeanette Starr, a son and daughter-in-law William and Dierdre Glossner and grandchildren Robyn and Chad Cosby, and Andrew and Katelyn Glossner.
Merwin was a skilled watch maker, served in the Army Air Corp during WWII, and then worked for the Federal Government for many years.
Merwin was a faithful Christian man serving as elder in several Christian churches.     After retiring they lived in Wooster Ohio for more than 20 years, attending Parkview Christian Church.   During this time he worked as a driver for the Rubbermaid Company.  
    In 2004 they moved to Willow Brook Christian Village in Delaware, Ohio and spent their remaining years there.   During this time they attended Worthington Christian Church.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Marshall Hayden and Pastor Gary Pettyjohn officiating.

Service
Graveside services will be held at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Marshall Hayden and Pastor Gary Pettyjohn officiating.

Visitation
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday evening, June 28, 2013.
