WOOSTER “ Harold C. Mann, 85, of Wooster passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at his home.
He was born September 14, 1927 in Orrville, the son of Charles and Grace Bowers Mann.   He married Theola œDolly  James on August 2, 1947.   She survives.
He was a lifetime farmer, had worked at Rubbermaid and part-time at the Ohio Equity.   After retirement he devoted his time to woodworking including turning bowls.   Harold was a member of the Moreland United Methodist Church where he had held various offices.
Harold was a member of the Moreland Cemetery Assn. Board, 30 year 4-H Club Advisor, a Franklin Township Trustee for 24 years, on the Board of Holmes-Wayne Electric Co-op for 15 years, a member of various farm organizations, an American Red Cross Volunteer and Charter member of the Moreland Community Historical Society.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Virgil (Linda) Mann of Lima, David (Karen) Mann of Shreve, Ilene (David) Starr and Peggy Mann both of Wooster and honorary daughters Patricia Roberts of Rockville, MD and Karen Clark of Wooster; grandchildren Scott, Megan, David Robert, Shane, Lance and Jason Mann, Katrina Yoder, Heather Sparr, Elizabeth Terwilliger and Karen Jo Parthemore; 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; a sister Fay Meyer of Smithville and a sister-in-law Ruth Mann of Fredericksburg.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents and a brother George Mann.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 5-8:00 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service at the Moreland United Methodist Church, 138 E. Moreland Rd., Wooster on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Tom Fish officiating.   Burial will follow in the Moreland Cemetery.
