Ruth Ann Mismas, 92, of Wooster died Sunday July 14, 2013 at Brookdale Senior Living.  
She was born August 31, 1920 in Millersburg to George Allen and Edith Miriam Armstrong Rumbaugh.   In 1948, Ruth married Albert J. Mismas, who preceded her in death in 1965.
Ruth was a graduate of Muskingum University and was a very active 52 year member of First Presbyterian Church.   She was a homemaker and had worked at a court transcriber for many years.   She loved to fish, go walking, making relish and was involved with the Humane Society.
Ruth is survived by her sons James (Bruce Stebner) Mismas of Akron and Mark (TJ) Mismas of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren Danielle (Tim) Henn, Sheena (Pat) Parrish, Erika Mismas, Aaron (Emily) Stebner and Amy Stebner; great grandchild Mason Henn; nieces Georgianna Kirchhofer and Gayle (David) Powers; nephews John (Nancy) Kirchhofer, James (Linda) Kirchhofer, Christopher (Debbie) Kirchhofer, Jeff Sell and Joseph Mismas along with many great nieces and nephews.  
Along with her husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, brothers James and John Rumbaugh; sister Miriam Kirchhofer and nieces Barbara Mismas Jarvis and Susan Sell.
A memorial service will be Saturday August 31, 2013 at 11:00AM at First Presbyterian Church, 621 College Ave, Wooster with Rev. Bruce Ballantine and Rev. Amy Starr Redwine officiating.   There will be a luncheon to follow in Bruch Hall.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Wayne County Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Road, Wooster, OH 44691.
