WOOSTER “ Duane R. Butler, 76 of Wooster passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at his home.
He was born June 4, 1937 in Bono, Ohio the son of Russell M. and Dorothy Chance Butler.   He married Judy Sechrist on November 23, 1962.   She survives.
He had been the plant manager at Crown Steel in Lorain before retiring after 25 years as a regional sales manager from Contours in Orrville.   He had served in the Army Reserves 447th Affairs Co. in Wooster.
He spent retirement devoting time to his entire family especially his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons Eric and Doug Butler both of Wooster; grandchildren Mark, David, Jennasis, Logan and Laci Butler and a brother Gary Butler of Wooster.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Danne Butler.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Black officiating.   Burial will be in the New Pittsburg Cemetery.
