Mary Jane ABBOTT, 88, of Wooster, died Friday August 30, 2013 at Smithville Western Care Center.
She was born October 8, 1924 in Coudersport, PA, daughter of Jackson E. and Hazel I. Rees Miller.   On July 2, 1943 Mary married William J. Abbott.   He preceded her in death January 21, 2011
Mary worked for the Wooster City Schools as a cook at both Edgewood and Kean.
Surviving are her children Curt E.(Sally) Abbott and Craig W.Abbott both of Wooster, Mark J Abbott of Springfield, Ohio, Mari L.(David) Burnette of Garden City, Mich; 9 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren,   1 great-grandchild and 1 step great-grandchild; sister, Erma Wales of Millerton, Pa,.
Along with her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Harry, CharlesJack and Dale Miller and sisters Elva Geeseman, Ann West, Loretta Smith, Olive Stebbins and Virginia Miller.
There will be no calling hours or services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
