Robert Riggle, 87, of Wooster died Saturday August 31, 2013 at his home.  
He was born March 26, 1926 in Zanesville to Daniel and Bertha Ryan Riggle.
On April 26, 1947, Robert married Hazel Brown.   She preceded him in death on October 6, 1999.
Robert attended North High School in Akron and was co-owner of Riggle Brothers, Inc and of Champion Combustion Corporation with his brother Dick Riggle.   He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Ebenezer Lodge #33 F & AM, Valley of Canton, Scottish Rite and Al Koran Shrine.  
He served his country in the Merchant Marine during World War II in the Pacific Theater of Operation.
Robert is survived by his children Jolene (Jim) Dyer of Wooster, Christine (Charles) Carroll of Hilton Head, SC. and Daniel (Debbie) Riggle of Wooster; grandchildren Stephen Herzog, Wendy Newstead, Jamie Gregory, Jeffrey and Joseph Dyer, Daniel Riggle, Katie Adkins and Sarah Riggle and 10 great grandchildren.
Along with his wife, Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter Heather Riggle; brothers Daniel and Richard Riggle and a sister Lucille Ross.
Friends will be received at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on   Monday September 2, 2013 from 3-5 PM with a Masonic service at 3:00 PM.
Private family burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
