WOOSTER “ Joyce Ann Pettice, 70, of Wooster passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Horn Nursing Home.
She was born in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of Sam and Ann Cooper Pettice.
She was a graduate of The Ohio University and had worked as a special education teacher at Nick Amster Workshop, Rubbermaid in production for 10 years and at Phillip Morris in Virginia as a supervisor.   She was a member of the Second Baptist Church.   She was an artist and enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by cousins, Gloria Johnson of Steubenville, Olivia Griffith and Joyce Carter of Wooster, a special nephews Christopher Carter and Leon Griffith  and a special niece, Katie Griffith and special friend, Martha Randles of Wooster and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Scott Richardson and a sister Carolyn Pettice.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradhan & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster from 2:30 “ 3:30 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013. A private family burial will be held.
