Dominic S. Massaro, 92, of Wooster died September 29, 2013 at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born July 7, 1921 in Wooster to Antonio and Eleanora Massaro and married Ruth Gilmore on August 6, 1954.
He was a barber in Wooster for many years and retired from The Wooster Brush Company in 1986.   He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church
He served his country in World War II as a Marine from August of 1940 through February of 1945.
Surviving are his children Candy (Frank) Lombardo, Terry (Pat) Riley; grandchildren Stephanie (Mike) Ruggles, Chad Porter, Matthew (Anna) Riley and Michelle (Aaron) Maxwell; 5 great grandchildren and a brother Benny (Doris) Massaro
His parents, wife, brothers Vincent, Frank, Richard and Henry; sisters Mary DiLucca and Carrie Costanzo and granddaughter Sarah Riley all died previously.
A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday October 1, 2013 with Rev. Stephen Moran officiating at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.   Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.   The family will welcome friends one hour before the funeral at the funeral home.
The family asks that contributions be made to LifeCare Hospice, 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
