Larry D. Walter, 84, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida died Wednesday October 2, 2013.
He was born April 26, 1929 in Orrville.   He was the son of Marion and Georgia Hackett Meier.
He retired as a self employed construction contractor and was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Wooster.
Larry is survived by his wife Beverly Ash Walter of Ft. Lauderdale; children Jed Walter of Ft. Lauderdale and Leslie (Wayne England) Harlan of Rockledge FL; grandchildren Troy and Jerrod Harlan and Jason Larson; great grandchildren Natalie, Morgan, Parker and Hayden Harlan.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Heidi Larson in 2004 and a son Reg Walter in 2010.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday October 6, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Wooster Cemetery with Kenneth Coonley officiating.
