Ronald E Gilmore, 76, of North Fort Myers, passed away on November 3, 2013 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral.
 Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Hospice Community Room, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral.
Graveside services in Wooster will be Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wooster Cemetery.
 Ron was born in Lima, Ohio to Paul L Gilmore and Ruth Gilmore Leighty on August 14, 1937.   He went to school at the Ida Sue School for Special Needs Children. After the family relocated to Cape Coral in 1980, he went on to reside at the group home of Tina and Bob Herrera.   For many years, he enjoyed his friends, family, and work at LARC of Lee County in addition to spending time with his dear friend Katherine, listening to music, and keeping picture albums.
 Ron is preceded in death by Paul L Gilmore, father; his grandparents, aunts and uncles. He is survived by his loving mother, Ruth Gilmore Leighty, of Cape Coral.
