WOOSTER – Jeffrey Ray Weaver, 53, of Wooster passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Wooster Community Hospital following a brief battle with cancer.
He was born July 22, 1960 in Wooster, the son of Carolyn Weaver and the late Ron Weaver.
Jeff was employed for the past seven years at Riceland Cabinets of Wooster, most recently as a supervisor.   In 2007, Jeff earned his GED and received the National Adult Education Honor Society award.   He was a member of Central Christian Church.
Jeff was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed woodworking.   He was an avid sports fan, especially for football and the Cleveland Browns.   Jeff owned and rebuilt a Harley Davidson sportster, which he enjoyed riding.
Surviving are a daughter, Samantha Weaver, mother Carolyn Weaver, sister Deb (Gale) Wilcox, nephew Troy (Meg) Wilcox, niece Tara (Rowdy) White, uncles Gerald (Norma) Stair and Terry (Donna) Weaver, aunt Bette Weaver and great nephews Adam Wilcox and Braxton and Clay White.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Ron Weaver, his grandparents Harry and Helen Weaver and David and Grace Stair, and uncles and aunts Dan Weaver, Jerry and Norma Weaver, Larry and Winnie Weaver, Roland and Judy Jones.
Services will be held at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Randy Weaver officiating.   Interment will follow in the Jefferson Pioneer Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, prior to the service.
