WOOSTER “ Elizabeth Joan Goodright, 78, of Wooster passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at West View Healthy Living.
She was born August 5, 1935 in Mansfield the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Grauer Shank.   She married Richard Goodright on June 4, 1961.   He survives.
She was an administrator in the Wooster City Schools for 37 years and served as principal at Pittsburg Avenue and Walnut Street schools.
She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, past president and governor of Quota Club, a Red Cross volunteer, volunteered at the Salvation Army, past president of the Wooster Alumni Association, member of the Arts and Crafts Guild, former president of Wooster Interclub Council and a volunteer at Wooster Community Hospital.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Karen (Dennis) Archer and a son, Rik (Nancy) Goodright; grandchildren, Christopher Archer, Beth Archer, RD (Lisa) Goodright, Jessica Goodright, Bryan (Kel) Archer; great-grandchildren Django and Abbott; sisters, Shirley J. Weir and Dottie Roberts and a half-sister, Thelma Tredway and her family Gail, Vickie, John and Becki.
She was a beloved aunt to Kellie (Steve) Weir West, Kathleen (Pat) Weir Sanders, Fred Shank, William (Denell) Shank, Jonathon Shank, Jamie (Deb) Roberts, Debra (Jeff) Roberts Shoemaker.   Great Aunt to Erik (Jessica) West, Karlie (Daniel) West Newsome, Kara (Cathy) Roberts, Krista (John) Roberts Gregory, Coty Owens, Lanita Shank, Corey (Sarah) Shank, Brandon Shank, Tyler Shank, Robert and Elizabeth Shoemaker, Aiden Sanders.   A great-great Aunt to Olivia Newsome and Wyatt and Kylee Owens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Fred C. Shank, brothers-in-law Jack T. Weir and Gene Roberts.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Church of Church, 150 E. North St., Wooster with the Rev. Kevan Franklin officiating.   Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the time of the service at the Church.
