WOOSTER Suzanne V. Momchilov, 56, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Susie was born June 27, 1957 in Cincinnati, the daughter of James K. and Frances C. Munroe Sliger. Susie was a caring and devoted wife to Gipp Momchilov for 25 years. Words cannot describe the unconditional love and support she dedicated to her husband and daughters, Libby and Anna.
She was a 1975 graduate of Mason High School, a 1979 graduate of Bowling Green and earned a master s degree from Ashland University. She was a dedicated Intervention Specialist for Southeast Local Schools. Susie was passionate about teaching and the many students/staff she touched over the last 35 years at Holmesville and Fredericksburg Elementary schools.
Susie was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister to hospital and nursing home patients and volunteering at People to People Ministries.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Libby and Anna Momchilov both of Apple Creek; her siblings Theresa (Gary) Popplewell, Stephen (Lynn) Sliger, Gregory (Patsy) Sliger all of Mason, Carol Sliger and Rita Milbern both of Cincinnati and James (Jennifer) Sliger of Middletown; numerous nieces and nephews and her extended family, the Neal Family, the Ford Family and the Markley Family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral mass will be Saturday, November 30, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Avenue, Wooster with the Rev. Stephen Moran as the celebrant. Friends will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. downstairs in the Parish Hall.
