WOOSTER – Jeanne Elizabeth JACKSON, 88, of Wooster passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at her home.
She was born February 4, 1925 in Wooster, the daughter of Ray and Ada Ramsey Mort. She married Dr. Thomas William Jackson of Piedmont, WV in 1946. He survives.
Jeanne grew up in Wooster and graduated from Orrville High School in 1943 and was a 1946 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in Philadelphia.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Michael M. Jackson and Elisabeth J. (Curt) Herzog both of Wooster, 1 grandchild, Alex and 1 great-grandchild, Jasmine.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, Myron T. Brenneman.
There will be no calling hours or services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
