WOOSTER – Cheryl D. DAVISSON, 45, of Wooster, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born June 24, 1968 in Wooster, the daughter of James E and Joyce Whitmyer Wirt.
She worked as a processor at Shreve Meats for the last 12 years and had previously worked at the Shreve Dari Bar. She was a 1986 graduate of Triway High School. Cheryl liked camping, Christmas, the Cleveland Browns, working in her flower garden and spending time with her family and her puppy and grand-puppies.
Surviving are her father, James E Wirt of Wooster, her mother, Joyce Wirt of Dalton; her children, S/Sgt. Stephanie A. Clark of South Korea, Brett A Davisson and Alanis R. Stanley both of Wooster; brother’s, James E. II (Sue Staggs) Wirt of Apple Creek and Dennis H (Sarah) Wirt of Massillon. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Church of the Saviour, 480 Fry Road, Wooster on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Brent Durham officiating. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
