WOOSTER “ We lost our darling Brandi Denae Mellinger, 35, on Monday, January 27, 2014 after a life-long and amazingly œFEARLESS  fight against Cystic Fibrosis.   While she entered into Heaven in the loving arms of her Grandmother Rosa Fern Mellinger, her love for her children, spirit and passion for life will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
Brandi will be especially missed by her son Kayden A. Mellinger, daughter Kurstyn P. Pagniano, mother LuAnn E. Smith (Mellinger), brother, Cody W. Smith, stepfather, Brent Smith, Fiancé Andrew Shorb, and father, Jim Herpel.  
Her children were the love and pride of her life, as well as the strength behind her fighting spirit to survive.   The multitude of friends and relatives (too many to list) were so dear to Brandi also.
A celebration of Brandi ™s life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of the Saviour, 480 Fry Rd., Wooster with the Rev. Dr. David Wilcox officiating.   Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Church.   Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
