ALLENTOWN, PA. – Virginia S. Wirth, 97, of Allentown and formerly of Wooster passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014.
She was the wife of Gaylord F. Wirth who passed away in 1971.   She was born in Wooster,   the daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel Kendall Shamp.   She was a member of the Parkway Church of Christ in Allentown. She volunteered for Lehigh County Meals on Wheels for 20 years.
Survivors are a son Timothy and wife Karen of Fuquay-Varina, NC, a daughter Pamela wife of Vernon Guischard of Allentown; grandchildren, Gretchen Frickx, Patrick Wirth, Aubrey Heil, Laura Guischard and Eugene Guischard; 6 great-grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded by sisters Elizabeth and Dorothy.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wooster Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lehigh County Meals on Wheels, 4234 Dorney Park Rd., Allentown, PA 18104.
