WOOSTER – Ruth Arlene HEFFELFINGER, 88, of Wooster, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 At MedCentral Health System in Mansfield.
She was born May 27, 1925 in Ashland Co., the daughter of Clarence and Stella Fulmer Heffelfinger.
She retired in 1987 after over 43 years with Lighting Rod Mutal Insurance-Western Reserve Group as Property Claims Manager.   Ruth attended the Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeromesville and she also raised Shelties.
Surviving are a nephew, Dave Heffelfinger of Casa Grande, AZ, niece’s, Anne Eagle of Ashland and Judy Schweyer of Jeromesville and family friend’s, Linda Kundtz and Dave Weaver of Wooster.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ralph Heffelfinger, and a special friend, Eileen Sellers.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday evening, February 20, 2014  from 6-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Jerry Rhea officiating.   Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.
