WOOSTER – Clarence E HAMLIN, Jr., 80, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at his home.
He was born March 12, 1933 in Ashland, the son of Clarence E Sr. and Doris McCarty Hamlin. He married Suzanne Miller on April 26, 1952. She preceded him in death on April 17, 2011.
He retired from the Maintenance Dept. at the O.A.R.D.C. He loved fishing and the outdoors. Clarence had served his country with the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are a daughter, Chrissy S (Johnny) Roston of Tacoma, WA; grandchildren, Seth A. (Pam) Gray of Hawaii, Aaron M. (Melissa) Gray of Pensacola, FL and Benjamin Perrine of Apple Creek; 1 great-grandson and 1 great-granddaughter; sister’s, Dixie Wilson of Wintergarden, FL, Lucille Briggs of Mentor and Shirley Dreibelbis of Grove Port, OH.
In addition to his wife, Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Samuel Eugene Hamlin in 1979.
There will be no calling hours.
Private family services will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
