WILLIAMSBURG, VA “ Melvin Carl Workman, 59, of Williamsburg passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.
He was born April 30, 1954 in Lodi, the son of Melvin O. and Ada Stidom Workman.   He married Loretta Butler on July 14, 1995.   She survives.
He had worked in landscaping and contracting.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Bill (Whitney) Sellers of Williamsburg, VA, Stephen MacIntyre of Gloucester VA and Elizabeth Sellers of Euclid, Ohio, grandchildren, Michael and Billy Sellers, Orion and Teagon Souderholm ; a brother David (Barb) Workman of Medina and sisters, Barb (Don) Kauf, Hazel Wagor and Wanda (Ray) Boggess all of Wooster, Bessie Murphy and Phyllis (Rick) Felton both of Orrville.   Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
There will be no calling hours.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Nathan Ward Officiating.   Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
