NAPLES, FLORIDA “ Jacquelyn œJackie  Smith, 82 of Naples, Florida and formerly of Wooster passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014.
She was born July 21, 1931 in Smithville to Edwin and Mabel Snure Zimmerman. She graduated from Smithville High School in 1949. She married E. A. œMike  Smith on June 12, 1949; he survives.
Jackie was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.   She traveled extensively and enjoyed every minute.   She loved flowers, especially her orchids, and was a wonderful cook passing many recipes to family and friends.
She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, a member of the Order of Eastern Star and had volunteered with the Wooster Community Hospital Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband of 64 years, she is survived by her children; Jeff (Patrice McLaughlin) Smith and Jill (Charles œSonny ) Carmichael both of Wooster; grandchildren, Season (Brian) Cheeseman and Jordan Smith; step-grandchildren, Brian and Kevin Dawe, Rick (Christine) Carmichael and Renee (Gary) Gwinn; a brother, David Zimmerman of Smithville and a sister-in-law, Louise Emerson-Schrock of Apple Creek.
At her request, there will be no services.
