FREDERICKSBURG “ Douglas Arthur Weiser, 52, of Fredericksburg passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Wooster Community Hospital with his family at his side.
Doug was born February 21, 1962 in Wooster, the 5th child of Richard and Shirley Costell Weiser.
He graduated from Wooster High School in 1980 and had worked in construction.   He enjoyed golfing and fishing and playing his guitar.   Doug loved being with his children and watching their ball games.
He is survived by his children Destiny and Brody Weiser both of Millersburg and his siblings, Dianne Richey of Strawberry, Arkansas, Ralph Weiser of Loudonville, Vicki Straits of Greenville, South Carolina, Jeff Weiser of Delaware and Brad Weiser of Wooster and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a nephew Eric Watkins.
There will be no calling hours.   A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the Moreland United Methodist Church, 138 E. Moreland Rd., Wooster with the Rev ™s Tom Fish and Bill Leitch officiating.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
