SANDUSKY  – Elroy Gerald MORRISON, Jr. 80, of Sandusky, formerly of Wooster died Sunday July 20, 2014 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky.
He was born December 30, 1933 in Sawyerwood (Akron), OH, son of Elroy Gibson and Selena Mary  Porter Morrison.
He attended Medina High School.   Elroy worked for Columbia Gas for 16 years and later went to Akron University and then went on to Law School at Akron.   He was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 1979.   He was a member of the Chariot Car Club.
He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the Air Force Intelligence from 1952 “ 1956.   Elroy spoke Spanish, Polish, German and Russian.
Surviving are son, Robert (Tamara) Morrison of Sterling; daughter, Barbara Taylor of Creston; granddaughter, Jennifer Sarno and grandson, Nathaniel Morrison.
Elroy was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Olive Fetzer Finck and Selena Frederick.
The family would like to thank Stein Hospice of Sandusky for their thoughtfulness and care.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, OH 44270.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

Graveside services will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Mike Decker officiating.
